Publish the comedy by G.F.Kvitka-Osnovjanenko "Shelmenko – district clerk" (1829).
One recruit for our parish in the shortfall, so we, with the ordinary fix up, found the one – orphan. One son of his mother, to what he is suitable? And his mother hefty rich. Her husband left her a considerable sum.

We finish pubication of the "History of Kyiv city" (1799) by M. F. Berlynsky. Today – end of the section "Topography of the city".
There are more than one hundred thirty streets and alleys at the Podol, they are mostly narrow, and only the principal of which are paved with logs.

The article "Hetman Mazepa in Western literature" (1913) by Dmytro Dontsov is published.
The greatness of character is always measured greatness of his opponent. The heavier and grander task given the hero, the more tragic forms takes a person, the more capable he to excite inspiration of poets.

Section introduces the individual components Dnieper valley: a system of islands and a number of coastal tracts in the administrative boundaries of Kyiv and its closest modern surroundings.
