Lesja Ukrainka
Publication of works by Lesja Ukrainka in 12 volumes, completed in 1975 – 1979, up today remains the most comprehensive and authoritative edition. The disadvantages of this typical Soviet edition is a hard political censorship (not included dramatic poem "Boyarynya" and some other works of acute national perception), omitting from the published texts some Lesja Ukrainka's statements against Russia and Russians, low academic level of their comments and their explicit anti-Ukrainian character, ignoring the heritage of the Ukrainian emigration and the diaspora in Lesja Ukrainka.
