We continue publishing the novel "Mazepa" (1926 – 1929). Today – the next 5 sections of the third part ("Baturyn"), including "Through the Desna."
Who can guess what words the tsar will say to the Ukrainian people and to the Cossack army? It is clear that Mazepa is portrayed worse by the devil, who will be called a traitor.
New short story by M. Khvylovy
We publish short story "Future miners" (1931).
Of course, Chapchyk did not go with the first batch of mobilized to the coal front because he handed over his affairs to the new chairman of the committee of poor peasants (he was the chairman of the committee of poor peasants in his village).

We continue publishing a virtual monograph by Volodymyr Dobryansky "Archeology of the Chortkiv district" (2021). Today – the next 3 articles, including "On the archaeological survey of a wooden castle of the XVII century in the village Shmankivtsi in the Ternopil region. "
It has been established that the wooden castle in Shmankivtsi is the citadel mentioned by U. von Werdum (Chernykhivtsi) and should not be equated with the castle in Chornokintsi.

We begin to publish "History of Kyiv", published in 1963. Today – "Preface".
Noting the great importance of Kyiv in the history of the Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian peoples, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in 1954 awarded Kyiv the Order of Lenin.

We continue publishing the work by Igor Olshevsky "And I had prophetic dreams…: an attempt at a mystical portrait of Pavel Tychyna" (2020). Today – "2. "I pray not to the spirit itself, nor to matter…".
The religious views of the young Pavlo Tychyna were indeed somewhat different from those of Orthodoxy at the time ("I have a some another religion," the Artist would later write).
