30 Dec 2012 New book on Kyiv
We continue pubication of the "History of Kyiv city" (1799) by M. F. Berlynsky. Today – "The sixth period. From conquest of Kiev by Lithuanian prince Gediminas to turn this province under reign of the Polish king Casimir IV. From 1320 to 1471".
Prudent Gediminas respecting allegiance of the newly acquired people, not only gave it the freedom of the ancient profession, but as ruler in Kiev approved his nephew.

Borodavka after talking with Sahaidachny again drinking in a tavern. There comes a minstrel and convinces Cossacks to go to Caffa – liberate slaves… Tantsyura also trying to agitate his Cossacks for march to Turkey. Suddenly comes the news that Zolkiewski robbed Cossack boats… At the Cossack council there was a sharp dispute between supporters march against Caffa and against gentlemen. Speech by Korzh persuaded to release captives. Svyrydovych hurt Barabash… Cossack Council decided to make march on Caffa…

The first years of the reign of Svatopolk II until the end of this XI century were the most restless of disagreement as princes, and on the brazen attack Polovtsy using their strife.

Oleg then increased ownership of his young pupil Igor by conquest of Drevlyany land over rivers Pripet and Sluch, also conquer siverjany and radymychy.
