Over the last decades, a detailed list of floodplain age trees has been compiled, which should be declared natural monuments of local significance (see also ). In addition, active work is being done to create other objects – reserves of local importance for the protection of the most valuable areas of the Dnieper floodplain, which are slightly distorted by recreational or economic activities. In this section we present a list of trees and nature areas of the Dnieper floodplain in Kyiv with an indication of the nature reserve object, which is proposed to be created here:
